Cooking Shrimp - Himalayan Salt Rock

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh grated lemon zest
  • 1 Himalayan salt rock

Directions:

  1. Place Himalayan salt rock or block on a baking sheet and place in the oven at 400 F for 1-2 hours.
  2. Rinse shrimp well in cold water. Mix all ingredients together and marinated desired amount of shrimp for 30 minutes. 


  3. Remove rock from oven and place on heatproof surface.
  4. Cook marinated shrimp on the Himalayan Salt Block — or your grill — about 3-4 minutes on each side.
